Vast car park there to go and see the glacier, which is the origin of the Rhone river. Don't miss to have a look at pictures exposed there which show how the glacier has fused for the last 20 years, frightening enough!
The old road at the south of San Gotthard Pass consists of tens of hairpin bends paved with cobbles where we met a herd of pacific but curious cows! One of them even tried to eat one my gloves ;-)
The road between Hinterrein and Mesocco goes through tens of hairpin bends. There you can stop at San Bernardino Pass for a rest, a drink or for lunch. Fantastic landscape!
